The Story

Hi! Welcome to my fridge magnet collection blog. This is my first post and I thought it would be nice to share with you the story about how it all began. I loved fridge magnets even long before I had my first one. I bought my first magnets after I got married, when we had our very first refrigerator and that was eight years ago. It did not grow fast because I was not collecting then. I only add one at a time whenever I go somewhere and I see a magnet that I really like. Nobody really knows that I love them so nobody gives me. I just started to seriously collect fridge magnets this year. I was inspired to do so when I swapped magnet with someone from The Netherlands. I got their traditional wooden clog magnet and I thought it would be fun to get touristy magnets from all over the world. Then another collector asked me if we could swap magnets too and I said yes. Then I started joining magnet swaps and trades. I like all kinds of magnets. My favorite however are the ones that features a famous food/landmark/thing typical to a specific country. As of this writing, I still have very few but I am hoping that they will grow to a big number.
